Dr Foo has been working in her private practice for the past 7 years alongside her NHS posts and has particularly enjoyed helping clients to make a successful return to work following a mental health episode (or alternatively stay at work whilst experiencing mental health issues). She is studying a MSc in Occupational and Business Psychology and has worked with organizations to provide stress management and wellbeing workshops.
She is currently working on a wellbeing maintenance toolkit for her MSc dissertation and has been one of the test users of a return to work toolkit for employers and employees. This toolkit explores stages and conversations that should be happening between employers and employees during an absence due to a mental health episode and is currently being reviewed by the Department of Health.
